This is yet another update of my painting from last year’s Burbank Arts Festival. This version has much brighter colors and more defined shapes, such as I clarified that there is a booth to the left up the street.
Saturday I was painting in Pasadena with the Weekend Warrior Painters at the Pacific Asian Museum. I layered a few things to create an interesting composition, the building across the street, a parking pass box, and a few cars.
Work in process- painting en plein air in Paso Robles at the Warbids Wings & Wheels Show. Many great planes and classic cars were on display, I found a great angle to paint the rolling countryside of Paso Robles, California behind a British warplane. The weather was warm with a cool, constant wind that threatened to blow my canvas off the easel. I will post the final painting soon.
I painted this with the Weekend Warrior Painters at TravelTown in Griffith Park, which is a fun train park and museum. It took me about four hours and is painted in acrylic paint on canvas.
